Using Projector on Ubuntu

Bismillah

Two days ago, my friend ask me to change his illegal windows that installed on his laptop to Ubuntu. But there is a problem, it's cannot connect to a projector. This is how to do it.

First, open the Xorg configuration file with your favorite text editor, it's located at:

/etc/X11/xorg.conf

On the device section, add new device that define the external monitor port:

Section "Device"
### The name of identifier is free, but it's must consistent with the next configuration
Identifier "External Port"
Driver "i810"
Option "MonitorLayout" "TV,LFP"
Option "FlipPrimary" "True"
Option "TVStandard" "NTSC"
Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
Option "ConnectedMonitor" "TV"
Option "Clone" "True"
BusID "PCI:0:2:0"
EndSection

Then, on monitor section, add the new monitor. On this case, it's mean the projector configuration:

Section "Monitor"
### The name of identifier is free, but it's must consistent with the next configuration
Identifier "Projector"
HorizSync 30-50
VertRefresh 60
EndSection

Last, but not least. Connect the port configuration with the monitor/projector configuration. Put it under both section that we have add them.

Section "Screen"
### The name of identifier is free, but it's must consistent with the next configuration
Identifier "Projector View"
Device "External Port"
Monitor "Projector"
DefaultDepth 24

SubSection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
EndSection

It's finish. Then, save the configuration. restart the XServer by pressing [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Backspace] buttons.

Mom First, Then The Others

Bismillah

Who should I do good deed to?
Your mom.

Then who is next that I should do good deed to?
Your mom.

Then who is next that I should do good deed to?
Your mom.

Then who is next that I should do good deed to?
Your dad, then your nearest relative, then your nearest relative.

The Movies: Ocean Series VS Mission Impossible Series

Mission Impossible are nice TV series movies that played when i was teenage. This is a nice movie. It's show how is team work.

Back to the present time. Nowdays, Mission Impossible Theatres Series are movies that i don't recommend it. Not like the TV series, Mission Impossible Theatre Series don't show the team power. They just show Ethan Hunt individual skill. I have seen Mission Impossible on teater, but I just see MI:II after the vcd has came out on the vcd rental, and I not even see the MI:III movie. Better than see Mission Impossible Theatre Movies Series, i would prefer Die Hard series, Entrapment, or James Bond: Tomnorrow Never Die (Honestly, for the James Bond Series, I just like James Bond: Tomorrow Never Die movie).

So we can match it with Ocean series. That movies show their team work. Every member of the team show their skill. These films make me remember about the old Mission impossible TV series. Also, it's funny enough. For the Ocean's Eleven and Twelve, i got the VCD from my friends. So, now, Oceans Thirteen played on theater, and I go to see it. Damn, I'm right, this movies still a good movies. And because its playing at the same time as Fantastic Four plays, so, i don't need to queue for the ticket. :P I don't need the special effect, i need the story.
